About

I am an evolutionary biologist and behavioral ecologist studying how social interactions lead to biodiversity, both within and across species. My work often involves hummingbirds, which provide a dizzying array of phenotypic and behavioral variation to draw inspiration from. I am a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow working with Dr. Scott Taylor at the University of Colorado - Boulder, and a Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute Fellow in the Republic of Panama.
